The hotel's location is fantastic - it's situated near covered malls, shopping streets, restaurants, and shops. The comforts of the moderate twin room were amazing, including central heating, multi-channel television, and a refrigerator. It is centrally located near the big bus station, making it convenient to access everywhere.

I appreciated climate control, multi-channel TV, and a refrigerator in the brand-new and exceptionally clean room. Location: the hotel was close to the big bus station, trams, bus stops and shops and the centre of town. I visited Fukuizumi Shin Shigai, based next to the venue, had dinner there: D

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. the location was superb, right in the heart of the city. We were surrounded by shopping areas, covered malls, and numerous eateries just minutes away. The famous Kumamoto Castle was also a short walk from here. Secondly, the hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Our room was spacious, which is a rarity in Japanese hotels. The public bath was also extremely clean and provided a relaxing experience. Additionally, the staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The location of Ref Kumamoto was perfect for my short trip. It was situated in the center of town, right next to shopping streets, restaurants, and a big mall. Plus, Kumamoto Castle, which I wanted to visit, was just a 15-minute walk away. The hotel also had a tram station right downstairs, making it easy to access the JR station in just 10 minutes. Another bonus was the new bus terminal across the street. The rooms were new and clean, and despite being opened only a month ago, there was no odor. I also opted for a high floor, which gave me a great view of the new sakura mall. The exceptional Wi-Fi was a big plus for me as well.
The rooms could have been a bit larger, as I had my toddler with me and we felt a bit tight in width. There was also no closet, and the wash basin was placed in the "hallway", which was a little inconvenient.

We loved the convenient location to shopping, dining options and popular tourist attractions. The hotel facilities were modern, clean and impressive. We enjoyed a relaxing soak in the onsen and appreciated the complimentary drinks and vending machines. The breakfast had a good variety of Japanese and Western options, with tasty dishes. The staff provided exceptional customer service, even assisting with parking arrangements.
Nothing that we didn't like.

Stayed during Easter and it was fantastic. the hotel had a modern and aesthetic look which was very pleasing to the eye. Its location was strategic as it was close to key shopping areas and restaurants. it had an amazing onsen with both indoor and outdoor tubs, which were beautifully decorated. Lastly, the hotel provided an excellent WiFi service, super fast and reliable.
The room was a bit tight and lacked a closet to store clothes which was a bit inconvenient. the bath area was not as clean as expected and could use a bit more maintenance.

This modern hotel in a prime central location is perfect for a quick stay. With easy access to restaurants, shopping streets, and a mall, you won't have to go far for entertainment. If you opt for a high floor, you'll have a great view of the surrounding area, which includes the new sakura mall. the exceptional breakfast buffet includes both Japanese and Western options, and the customer service is exceptional.
One downside to this hotel is the cramped bathroom in some rooms, with the sink in the living area instead of the bathroom.

Great location, very modern and exceptional breakfast. We loved how close the hotel was to the shopping streets and restaurants, and the fact that it was just a short walk away from the famous castle made it even better. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with plenty of local food to try. The modern decor and amenities were excellent, and the WiFi was top-notch.
Rooms could have been a bit larger, and the mattress could have been more comfortable. the bath facilities were heavily used and didn't seem as clean as they could have been.
